Pond Rock

If you live in the Cedar Rapids Iowa area and you need rocks to build your pond you're in luck I DELIVER!!. Other vendors are selling rocks from .5cents to .20cents a pound and that doesn't include delivery. I will deliver approximately 4,000pounds of Iowa Fieldstone to you for $100. If you are interested in some rock, please contact me by phone at (319)378-8961 or by e-mail at bickal@mchsi.com.

Delivery includes:unloading next to the trailer only. It does not include hauling rocks or placement of rocks around the pond. The standard load of rocks is a mixed size (5 to 150 pounds), and variety color (yellow, blue, red). For rocks larger than 150pounds or specific sizes or colors, ask me for a quote. For help placing the rocks around the pond, ask me for a quote.
How many rocks will I need?
ALOT. You would be surprized how many rocks it takes. Depends on the diameter of your pond, how large your waterfall, and how long your stream is, etc. I only put rocks around the perimiter of the pond edge. I do not put them all the way to the bottom. A 4,000 pound load of rock (like in the picture) would edge a small pond about 10' diameter and short waterfall. See example photo.
What size of rock should I use?
Rocks should be sized to the proportions of the pond. Smaller ponds should use smaller rocks. Using rocks too large can make a small pond look even smaller. Here are a few pictures of rocks with weights. The scale that they are sitting on is 12"x14".
